This came from my disappointment in the ways some furry artists anthropomorphize snakes. Instead of giving them arms and legs, how about sticking a giant snake in a clear body they control?

This led to a lot of story ideas. Here's one that came to me:

"The snake people in glass/force field bodies. Condemned to crawl on bellies by now-sleeping god, have retained a genetic phantom limbs. Old (human) race has completely fallen (God had to punish/destroy them?). Snakes debating to wake old god for forgivenesses/restoration, others say an extremely bad idea considering they were the seed of the God’s race’s fall. Find out not the first time creation story has repeated, limbs only the most recent thing they lost."
