Hidrashi are a shapeshifting race of humanoids. They have three forms: Human, Mix, and Hydra.
They are born in hydra form and can have anywhere from 2-10 heads with a vaired number of eyes on each. In human and mixed forms they have one head and can often be seen rubbing their necks or temples as only one head makes them feel stiff and trapped.
They have a lifespan 250-300 years with a great healing potential.

There are 2 types of hidrashi.
-6 legged with no wings - good climbers - can control two elements. Resistant to elements they use.
-4 legged and winged - faster and can fly. Can only control one element. Immune to thier element

Talanah herself uses the fire element. She works as a high level general in the Elyrian Army (Elyria is a human kingdom in Aeryn right next to the island home of the Hidrashi. The Hidrashi view themselves as Elyrians). Talanah uses her fire magic and a shortsword style of fighting to lead her troops in defending her kingdom. She is considered one of the top 5 strongest members of the Elyrian Millitia.
