This month something quite frustrating happened - my last long-living pet, cockatiel Kesha, who lived with me for almost 20 years, has passed away. Just two years after my cat died. These guys were significant part of my life and without them my childhood would've been quite different, so i've made this little tribute. I hope it looks better than previous one...
I tried to show the kind of relationship they had throughout their life here - bold, sassy bird who thinks he's the king here, chirping around and walking wherever he pleases, and polite cat, who knows he could just easily eat this rascal, but behaves and lets this feathered ball do whatever. Probably he'll get bored and go away...
R.I.P., thanks for sweet time together.

My tiel is the exact opposite, he just hisses at everything he doesn't like, and whenever it gets too close he just panics and flies off... usually smacking into my window... Birds man..
Losing a pet can be hard, honestly maybe even harder than a relative. There's just this unspeakable bond between pet and owner that you can't really get anywhere else. Alas, all good things must come to an end, cherish to good memories, and may they rest eternally in peace.

Ouch. This hits too close to home. It's very cute, though.
Y'know those people who say ignorant crap like: "You'll never understand real worry unless you have kids of your own.", or "You have no idea how painful it is to lose a child."? Yeah, right ... they don't have a clue what they are babbling about. I'm sorry.
