Following an old saying "Never piss off a woman that could dislocate your arm" is always a wise decision.
Jokes on you, I just made that saying up, but it's actually a good advice to stay physically healthy I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Jokes aside, here we have my contributation for shark week, that I couldn't start and finish in time for it because my job.
I powered through yesterday evening until late at night and finished the remaining part just now after work.
Here we see Nika Sharkeh, the fursona (fishsona? Sharksona? I don't think sharks have fur) of
NikaSharkeh
I'm watching her account for... some time... maybe years, I don't remember very well, I know I usually like what I see in my inbox from her.
For a while now I wanted to show my appreciation for the character and the person by drawing something for her, and being the patient individual that I am, I waited until her ref sheet was doneI got surprised by it as I was thinking of which pictures to use and it's definatly laziness on my part that the ref sheet was done before the giftart but I had a great ref-sheet to work with which made things very nice and easy for me
I found the story interesting that Nika came up with for her character in the ref sheet (THIS REF SHEET) and I like the character alot. A great design, love to details and with alot of personality.
And not to mention she is... °cough° very VERY attractive and sexy as all hell... she's definatly rocking a body to die forplease don't kill me vwv And I admit I'm not confident enough still to write much about female characters I like publically. I mean peolpe could read that... *hides ashamed*
On an artistic level, this is the first time I drew muscles and it was an interesting experience and gave the picture more depth and I really like how it turned out. Not to mention that cheeky teethy grin, you just gotta love shark girls. But I still admit, despite being up to now my best picture (I think I'm getting in the direction with my art that could classify as good, but I'm not there yet) I think there are some things that I could have done better, shading, light placement, the hair, and the sketch and lineart for the hands god damn killed me. But it paid off in the end to give one of my favourite characters on FA some love and attention, and not to mention one of my favourite shark girls °squee°
I'm just generally too shy and anxious to start talking to other people first vwv ehehe...
