Stepping out of my comfort zone.
For a long time I have been working almost exclusively in Greyscale/Screentone. For a number of years my wife
Kacey has been asking me to expand back into colour. I have been very resistant to it because I made some giant mistakes in the past and felt I was not really able to work in it well.
A short number of days ago, I picked up a new brush for Clip Studio Paint. I did a quick scrap in colour, found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/28139162/
I was very happy with the results, and I decided to change the piece I was working on to be colour.
This is the result.
I wish to state here, a thank you to
Kacey for her help in understanding some parts of Clip Studio Paint, and her demonstration of a very intuitive cool shadow shading technique.
As usual, questions, comments, other considerations are more than welcome. Thank you.
