Basil doesn't get it. It's nice of him to give a hand to Crystal on her show but what's the point of using real magic ?

Magic shows are cool because it's all fake, but the magician knows all the tricks while you don't, keeping it all mysterious, yet fascinating. Using real magic wouldn't be really interesting, doesn't it. There would be no mystery left, it's just magic and that's it. Just my two cents here.
