This was a much more personal song than usual for me, especially at this stage of my songwriting. Even though a large amount of my songs are just events from my life romanticised up a bit, this is probably the one that was written about myself in the most obvious fashion. I think that from reading the lyrics, most everyone here will know exactly what it's about - an attraction to someone who you know doesn't exist.

I did like the lyrics at the time, but they now seem rather forced - I think you'll either find them ridiculously emo or strangely acceptable. Even the musical style itself was an experiment for me - it's written mostly in waltz time, with an acoustic guitar part running through the main theme. It gives it a very different sound from all my other music.

Again, the MP3 is of rather low quality to fit it into the 8MB size limit.
