The Peninsula is the story behind a lot of the characters I post on here. A sort of postapocalyptic world where the gods have wiped out humanity and replaced it with these creations of theirs that don't even do the things that biological life is known for.

Really though, it's all just one enormous reference to roller coasters and amusements parks and their history. It all makes much more sense if you understand that context but I've had people who aren't into coasters at all like it because it's so out there if you don't understand what it references.
