Vizra is a wingless Thistledown wasp from a post-apocalyptic Earth where insects survived and mankind did not.

As a wingless wasp, she appears more like an ant than one of her own kind. As such, the Vespid (wasp) regime uses her as a spy against their enemies, the Formians (ants).

Having long ago purchased a handful of illegal texts from the Roaches, Vizra discovered the archaic Japanese cultures and fell in love with the elegance and refined ways of the geisha. She practices ikebana and has clothing made to her specifications - which are direct from images of ancient Japanese women.

Here she contemplates the life of a slug, who she has allowed to live in her garden despite its semi-destructive nature. How different is the slug from her own people?
