More practicing with SAI's lineart mechanism and an excuse to procrastinate more from my school work. I'm starting to get the hang of the tweaks and whatnot available for the lineart to make something that looks more fluid than my PS pen-tool inking but less wiggly than my hand inking. It's getting there.

This is Fred. Fred is an anthropomorphic weasel for a story I'm probably never going to write. He really does look like a sad sack all the time so the expression is fitting :D
There's a few reasons I decided to draw Fred - A) I have a bad tendency to make my weasels look like wolves, despite weasels being my favorite animal. This was an attempt to draw a weasel character and actually pay attention to weasel facial structure. Namely, a much shorter snout and more rodent-like ears. and B) When I'm in an art block the things I can usually draw with minimal frustration are animal/cartoon/anthro faces. That's about it and Fred here used to have a torso before I raged into cropping it out.

I want to try drawing headshots of all the characters in this story. I think that would be fun and a decent challenge...anyway, I've rambled enough :)
