Great and spooky work.
Great book, didn't see the first movie, seen the second was fair... Zombie dog was cool though.

They aren't zombies, the dead buried there are possessed by evil spirits/demons like a Wendigo which soured the ground along time ago according to the novel and the dead come back as demons with demons inside them. Basically like deadites.
