This is Tedla. Tedla is a bland, an asexual being from an evolutionary offshoot of humanity. On its home planet blands are kept at a near-slave class, considered to be not human and much less important than either male or female. Blands are mentally, physically and sexually abused by their human masters, normally called guardians.
For the record, my sabbatical from drawing is still ongoing and this does not count as an actual doodle. In my downtime I encountered a book that inspired me to do a little drawing in spite of myself.
The long and short of the matter is, when I was 12 or so, I read a book called Halfway Human. What I read in it horrified my innocent little brain and I quickly returned the book to the store. Last week I encountered the book again. Not remembering anything about it I read it anew and was shocked to see the impact that book actually had on me. A huge portion of my outlook on life, my kinks, and even some of my thought processes were mirrors of what I had read ages back. So I guess that makes this the most influential book in my life :p Eat that, Bible! HA!
So I decided to draw Tedla, the main character from that book, and send it to the author, along with some general fanboying. Yes, this is my first true fanart of a published work.

Great to see that you're still around. Life has sufficiently lacked in sadistic kink since you went on sabattical. Its nice to know you're still (sort-of) there, Mister X :)
Who is the author of the book btw?
You have perked my interest and I would quite like to read this work that could be responsible for your creation.
