nom-sympony was feeling quite hungry once again, it was long since he stumbled upon a rattata or pidgey. Looks like the Jolteon would have to hunt for his own food, and what better place than his favorite Pokecenter!
That place was very familar to the electrical eevolution, he has already visited the place many times before. But not for the reasons someone would visit the health care building ...
Peeking from the usual back window, the Jolteon could not see any pesky humans around. Perfect! Ren did not waste any time and quickly jumped inside the somewhat dark room, he could already see his favorite pantry: lots of shelves full of pokeballs, each one of them stocked with many different types of yummy pokemon!
Ren wondered what he would get for lunch today, it was always thrill to know what kind of snack would come out from one of these little toy-looking balls. I've still remembered how surprised Charizard popped out of one, and also how surprised the large dragon got when he got suddenly swallowed inside the much smaller eevolution.
But maybe Ren shoudn't keep day-dreaming like that...

It didn't take too long for the staff of the place to notice all the missing pokeballs. Could it be work of that nasty Team Rocket?! But strangely enough, all the pokeballs were left behind, open and completely empty, only faint reminders of the pokemons that used to be inside scattered around... feathers, scratches on the floor, tads of fluff... was the criminal organization brawling with the pokemons or something?!
Annoyed by the mysterious burglar, the workers of the place had to do to something about it. And so they did, installing many hidden traps around the place. Very well hidden ones, even for the keen eyes of a Jolteon.

Despite his lightning fast reflexes, the electrical pokemon could not see the giant metal piston coming from the wall towards him. Distracted by his own gluttonous thoughts, Ren could only make a faint whimper as he got completely SMAAAAAAASHED onto the counter side, his spiny fuzzy body getting easily compressed from the strenght of the machinery.
After some time pressing against the counter like nothing was into it's way, the piston finally retreated back into the wall again, revealing a very thin jolteon poster plastered on it.
The confused Ren felt his body completely numb, he couldn't move anything but his eyes. Even when he tried to move around, it was like his body refused to move! Was he hit by a paralizing dart or something? As he struggled to move his body away, he soon got a very solid clue: the jolteon could see something yellow flopping right on front of his eyes... his ear! But now much flatter than usual, even ressembling one of his cousins Sylveon ribbons. That together with the feeling that one of his sides were completely touching the cold counter made the Jolteon finally realize what was going on: He was completely flat! Pressed thin like a pancake on the counter, unable to do anything but stare around and make the ocasional whimper sounds.

Well, at last he already was inside a pokemon center he thought, the humans always bring their pets there to be restored back into shape! But as the lights turned on, he soon realized that the person coming towards him wouldn't be too kind.
The nurse Joy who knelt to stare at his trapped form had a quite wide grin, much different than her usual smile. She grabbed the floppy ear and slowly peeled the flattened Ren away from the counter, tugging his now rubbery flat body and even stretching it a bit as a satisfying schhhhhrrrrrp sound came out.
"Oh, so its you our naughty little burglar huh..."
She said as she finished peeling the jolteon poster completely, his flat form wobbling with every movement. The nurse giggled at that, waving the squashed pokemon around to make him flail and flop even more.
"Hmm, yes, you're quite the healthy specimen dear... very bulky and strong. No wonder though, you had quite the feasts here before, right?"
The nurse said with a giggle, starting to roll the helpless poster into a neat scroll.
"But now it's time for you to pay the bills..."



The rumors of disappearing pokemon there at the poke center where never heard again, and the attendants of the place got many compliments about their new jolteon-shaped welcome mat. Some frequent customers even noticed it becoming bigger and wider over the weeks, but that never stopped the novelty carpeting from being very soft and making funny squishing sounds from every step.
