The leader of a burning hot team like Team Magma definitely fits in with the weather here lately...
It's Maxie! He's the leader of Team Magma in the Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald games as well as their re-releases. I was told to give him an irritated face and I think I re-created the reference picture almost too well. He looks as if he might come to life and start scolding me >__> I really like how simple but recognizable his design is. There's something very satisfying about making a plushie that has clear/clean lines and a strong silhouette like this. And he's a big boy at 16 inches tall, so if he did come to life and scold me, you'd see me cowering in a Team Magma uniform in no time...
