Final Battle: Spiritual Sacrifice (Part 2 of 3)
Time for the second installment of the finale of this story. This one came out brilliantly and I am so pleased with how Blaze looks in this picture.
When we last left of, Blaze and Lord Volcanus were locked in a Ki Blast stalemate as they fought for the fate of the universe. One good and one evil. Which one of these powerful entities will amount victories, let's find out.
Blaze's and Volcanus' power struggle rages on as the ripples distort through countless dimensions. The ground beneath Blaze cracking and braking apart as he puts in as much strength as he possibly can to take down Volcanus. "I'm sure all this struggle is not doing your wounded body any favours, Blaze!" Volcanus continues to laugh and talk down to Blaze as if he had already won. Too be fair, Blaze is severely struggling to keep up.
As the battle between good and evil continues to rage on with all the other forces clashing together, a few of Blaze's allies shout out their support for Blaze. "Don't you dare give up! Keep at it!" Vegeta calls out as he continues to fight off Frieza and a few of his forces. "You blasted monkey! You'll never better me and that pitiful ice cube will never succeed!" Frieza mocks Vegeta and Blaze as he continues to clash with the Prince.
"We're right behind you all the way, Blaze!" Gohan shouts out his support as he faces Cell and his Cell Jr allies. "I'll make you both pay for what you both did to me, boy!" Cell was still feeling sore from his last encounter with both Blaze & Gohan. The two kept clashing blows and Ki blasts as they tried to get the upper hand on each other. Gohan then spots his opportunity and strikes Cell down with a powerful Kamehameha.
Goku and Kid Buu have their own Ki wave clash as the two fire a Kamehameha at each other. "Come on...! Keep fighting! For all our sakes! We'll take them down together, Blaze!" Goku's words reached Blaze as everyone continues to give their support. Goku's and Buu's clash explodes as Kid Buu gets evaporated by the blast and destroying every cell of his body.
"Aww, sounds like you have a lot of respect coming from your friends. But, not even they can stop me now. IT'S TIME TO END THIS!" Volcanus mocks everyone's support for Blaze as he then puts out all his strength into this final struggle. Volcanus' own Ki wave now pushing back at Blaze's and almost putting an end to this struggle but Blaze digs deeper and pushes back a little more.
"You think I'm fighting you all alone, Volcanus... But... You're wrong! I'm never alone! With every ounce of strength I have... I'll end this... RIGHT. NOW. I'M PUTTING EVERYTHING INTO THIS FINAL PUSH! HAAAA!!!" With those final words and the words of his allies ringing through his ears, Blaze pushes through and pushes back against Volcanus. All his strength in this final struggle begins to push Volcanus back as he digs as deep as he possibly can.
As Blaze pushes back and puts more and more power behind his attack, Blaze's body begins to turn gray from the feet as it starts to build up his body. "Wh-What the!?" (Future) Trunks notices Blaze's body graying out and wonders what's happening. "H-How can you still have this much power!" Volcanus struggles to re-obtain the upper hand. "This... This is all the power we have! Me... Me and all the Innocence praying for peace!" Blaze announces his power over Volcanus as the Innocence shouting and sending their support towards Blaze as he fights to protect them all.
As the beams clash reaches Volcanus, Blaze's body was already neck deep in gray as he pushes with all his might to end this struggle once and for all. "NOW! BEGONE, VOLCANUS FOREVER!!!" The clash meets Volcanus and starts vaporize him into nothing. "N-NOOO!!! I... I can't be defeated... N-Not like this! I... I'll remember this... I... I'll return... GAAAARRRGGGHHH!!!" The clash explodes on Volcanus in a blinding spiritual light as it rains down on the battlefield, picking up a lot of dust. Beams of light striking down the remainder villains but with a couple slinking away to fight another day.
After the smoke had cleared up, Blaze's entire being was grayed out and he seemed frozen in the same pose as he was during the clash. It seems Blaze put everything into this one attack, his power... and his life force. Blaze sacrificed himself to protect everyone and to put an end to evil Lord Valcanus' terror once and for all. The ripples through the dimensions finally subsided as things started to fade away and return to normal.
A monument was built next to Blaze's frozen body as his allies hoped their leader would one day return to protect the blue planet he called home. They say, during the setting of the sun at a certain time of year, you can see Blaze's shadow appear on the rippling waters as if he was actually there still watching over the planet.

I highly recommend checking her out as she is an amazing artist and I can't get enough of her work. I'll certainly be getting more pieces from her in the future.
