I am Kra'nora, the prisoner king, one of the grater demons that rule the underworld. I, unfortunately suffer a great curse since millenia ago.
I, like the other greater demons and powerful creatures of virtue, was born at the same time life rose and flourished, as soon as we realized our own potential we began to fight for supremacy over the destiny of the mortals' land and separated in two groups, those who were more ambitious and realized that the mortals were more fervent followers if rewarded with gifts of the flesh and those who refused to intervene in the mortal matters and instead reward their submissiveness by rewarding them after death, offering the so called “Apotheosis”. We decided to form our realms parallel to the mortals and our war began.
In the early days of our conflict both sides were quite aggressive about our approach to war, sending legions after legions to fight one another and even ourselves fought in the grand battles bringing great devastation. The great proof of this was what would be called The Great Wastes, once green lush forest was devastated after I and Honay, one of the few greater demons I can trust, casted a spell that cursed the land and all that lived there. After that battle the Council of Virtue decided to take me out of the picture, but because they were unable to destroy me they used powerful sorcery and since that day on I became the prisoner king whose palace is his prison. Later that same century we both sides decided to let the mortals fight our war to lessen the collateral damage, but that treaty is seems to be slowly fading away.
So long I have been in this state that my fortress and surrounding lands have become an extension of my body, manipulating everything from the foundations to the spires to do my bidding, whatever it may be.
I teach my followers to seek knowledge so they may one day break my imprisonment. But my greatest hopes of freedom may be with the scholar Dalteran, who is imprisoned with me until he discovers how to free me, I know he plans to betray me but I hope he reconsiders, as I would be a pity see him die for such a worthless cause.
Once I am free I will finally be able to walk under the sun and the moon once more after many years of waiting.

At first he did but around the fifth century of imprisonment he stopped caring about anything besides looking for his freedom and keeping himself entertained unless he knows that someone he has some interest in, if that is the case we will practically make a straight road to his door.
