So this is also short to but since summer is coming to an end, one more pic of these two at the pool had to be drawn.

Those Final Days
It then became the month of August which meant the summer was almost over for Jack and Rachel. The vulpine wanted to make sure he could make it last before going back to school. Even if that meant running into the bob cat, the male was fine with it. And on one of these last days found him at the pool again. Naturally his family was here but so was Rachel’s. The little vulpine and feline were in the water and had just finished testing to see who could hold their breath the longest. “Looks like I win,” he said.
“You got me,” she replied and smiled. “But I was almost there.”
“Yeah, you’re not bad yourself.” Rachel bushed and smiled at Jack.
“Hey Jack, can I ask you something?”
“Sure, what is it?”
“Well…” The feline began to play with her fingers in a nervous way. The vulpine noticed this and wondered what was up with the female but shrugged it off. “What if… you know…”
“Know what?” Jack asked.
“If… we’re in the same class again,” Rachel finished, her voice getting higher pitched with nervousness.
The vulpine hadn’t thought of that and had to think about it for a bit. He was so quiet, the bob cat got worried. Jack then looked to her. “If we were… Then it wouldn’t matter to me,” the male said.
“You mean it?” Rachel asked, hardly wanting to believe it.
“Sure, you’re fun to be around. And you can do basketball as well.”
The little bob cat just closed her eyes and smiled deeply to herself. “Thank you…”
“Now how about another fun game?” Jack asked and the two kids took off where they had left off. Nicholas, Topaz, and her parents were watching them while pausing in their talk and all of them smiled at this interaction. Well as it turned out Rachel was right to think that because during the last week, the two families went to meet the third-grade teacher Jack and the bob cat would be having and it turned out they were in the same class again. The little bob cat was happy to have the vulpine as a classmate again as she knew that she liked Jack. He on the other hand figured this would be another interesting year.
