But it makes perfect sense anyway. I tend to think of fin-ears like, billowy and fan-like, but that's not how shark fins are...

All those "shark-anthros" and for example "snake-anthros", scattered all aver the place, were always looking so weird with average human-like body and more like actual shark/snake shoved into their butts...
