you ever feel like you're just not good enough? whether it being your art, your looks, your personality, your job or second guessing your friends. it can get pretty stressful sometimes and it feels like you're either drowning - or in this case, chained - to that stress and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.
i've been feeling a LOT of this lately over the past week and a half. feels like nothing you do is right and that anything you do just isn't good enough to anyone anymore. *sigh* just a little vent art i guess. i'm hoping to feel better within the next couple of days. too much shit going on, i guess!
also.. sketched in SAI with my busted up tablet pen. "rigged" for your pleasure ;)
i may finish this at a later time - with better tools.

Oh my yes - I've been feeling like that for a while now (hence the cessation of my art updates)...it's a tough feeling to shake.

I'm enjoying the juxtaposition between what the sketch is expressing and the sketch itself...it expresses a feeling of not being good enough, yet the sketch itself is excellent, thus definitely good enough....it's an amusing contrast...

I don´t know any artist who is satisfied with him- or herself. It´s essentially the hallmark of the real artist, I guess. Two concert pianists (and famous ones):
"Stage fright before every single performance is the price I pay for an amazing career."
"If I didn´t practice every day, after one day I would notice, after two the critics would start to hear, on the third day the public and on the fourth day I´d be booed off stage anywhere."
