It's often argued if Howl is a decedent of the Cowardly Lion, because he's so easily spooked. Shy as well, he has a tough time making friends, but really he's very sweet once you get to know him. His idea of fun is going to a restaurant, only ordering drinks and a side, and then spending an hour on his phone. Despite his lack of fun factor, he can be a great friend and is always ready to lend an ear to anyone's problems, even if they just met. He spent most of his life being the victim of bullying, which is where his quiet nature comes from, but in recent years he's come out of his shell more and dyed his formerly pure-white mane and tail pink to match the feminine aesthetic he's always desired.
