A lovely sketch from  mrcanvas! It came out really well, wanted a series of pics of one of my first Gundarii characters, Kyu. Because I have been sort of ignoring him, I think I'll go ahead and give some background info on him.

Kyu is a few hundred years old, which is fairly youthful for a Gundarii. He is a member, alongside his brother, of the Gundarii Imperial Elite Guard, a mixture of body guard to the royal family, senate members, and a tasked special forces unit.

The armor he wears might seem useless, it doesn't cover his upper legs, or his feet, or his abdomen, or his upper arms. But, the armor is powered by crystal energy cells, and it projects a skin tight force-field around the bare areas. Gundarii armor is designed to be functional, but also allow for as much physical intimidation as possible by showcasing the magnificent bodies that Gundarii warriors need.
