Okay, I haven't made any drawings on or off the computer in quite a while, but the creation of this one came on quite suddenly. That doesn't mean it was easy- It took about two and a half hours total to draw and color. Anyway, this doesn't have anything to do with Planesquest, I just thought it'd be cool to have knights and squires within a forest whose species are animals of the forest. In this case, it's an elk knight with a bunny rabbit squire. Of course, even though I spent a long while coloring this picture with colored pencils, I felt the need to edit it in photoshop. So, if you think this looks weird, that could be why. Anyway, not perfect, but hope you all enjoy it anyway.

Here's the story with this picture: The once-peaceful land of Celestos used to be a place where everyone lived within the great forest of Verdan, ruled by the benevolent Pearlhorn dynasty of unicorns. However, noble dragon Avalon Rosefire succeeded to the nearby area of Mount Arcanus to build the grand city of Arcania. Even after this development, the two civilizations lived in amicable harmony, until a demon blight emerged in a far away land. Dracos Rosefire, descendant of Avalon and current ruler of Arcania, sent his knights to battle this new and mysterious evil, though his aim was decidedly more interested in glory than the greater good. The knights of Arcania included dragon knight named Lady Gweneviere Nova, a naga knight named Sir Galavant Ironscale, a minotaur knight named Sir Taurus Stonehoof, and a griffon knight named Lady Esmeralda Skyclaw. Princess Sylvana Pearlhorn of Verdan sent her knights as well, motivated more by the potential for death and destruction that this new demon posed. Princess Sylvana's knights included Sir Florian Verdana, the elk knight, accompanied by his small and dim-witted rabbit squire Hopper Cloverleaf, as well as Lady Zelda Primus, the bear knight, accompanied by her smaller and more cowardly squire Fiona Scratcher, as well as Lord Alexander Silvermoon, the wolf knight, accompanied by his smaller and sneakier squire Juliette Brushtail, and finally Lady Gale Stormwing, the falcon knight and her smaller and nerdy squire Hootly Flitwing. Who will save the foreign land? Will it be Dracos Rosefire for glory? Will it be Sylvana Pearlhorn for protection? Will both teams of knights succum to the demon? Will they work together for the greater good? The answer will be revealed in the adventures of "Cronicles of Celestos". I was thinking of calling it something like Zoosader (play on crusader), but that seemed kind of lame, not to mention unfitting if some of the characters were mythical creatures. Anyway, here's Florian Verdana with his trusty squire- Who forgot the horse. Actually, the two are ready to discuss what kind of mount an elk SHOULD have given the situation. Hopper says: "Uhhh, a human maybe?" Florian: "Are you daft, Hopper? They haven't been seen around here for years. Besides, I've heard they make better pets than mounts..." Anyway, enjoy!
