This is Tiggy and CalliopeRabbelle. Calliope was the first Bunny (suiter) I ever met and she is truly beautiful. It's always a joy to bump into them.

It features an alien with 900 (or more) grandmothers, all still alive and as they get older they shrink, so the oldest are the size of bees or ants. And they're cranky when you wake them up from their full time nap. I think the jist of the story is this anthropolgist who wants to know their history right back to the beginning or some such. But funny. Lafferty was always a riot to read.
what's even more surreal is trying to have a conversation and getting all tongue tied... I was really worried about my panel. True to form, going in I had nothing prepared - all I had was an idea. As I walked into the room I said in a very loud voice - 'You're all fired!' The look on their faces was priceless, and the ice breaking effect was wonderful. I then followed, 'Oh, sorry, wrong panel.' Seriously, though, if I were to meet you, I would probably have a hard time after shaking your hand and saying, 'Hello, I'm Vixyy.'

This is such a great photo. I totally agree that meeting people in person for the first time when I've known them online can be overstimulating, but almost always in a good way. I dream about meeting a lot of you in person someday, but I'm afraid I would just gush all over the place about how awesome you are!
