Reachfortheclouds on tumblr is one of my RP partners, a cool buddy, and a really sweet gal? Like so nice. And she's done gift art for me in the past (and commissions!) so I wanted to draw something for her as thanks for being so chill and sweet. ^^ Seriously, if you haven't yet, check out her art. It's all great, and her characters are so interesting. It's taken me like, probably two months to get this done. I am literally moving so slow on art right now ugh. But I'm still happy with how it turned out. I wanted to make it look kind of like there's a storm moving in (and more off in the distance).

So, she has this giant character, Byrne, who used to be human. So we've kind of headcanoned that he and Sebastian met at some point while he was still human and they became friends then. Like, even though Sebastian would normally just eat him, he respects pirates a lot (and Byrne's cute, and pretty close to being "his type"), so he decides to let him go.
