Kyo is from a small farm on the outskirts of Poseidon City where he helps his parents around the farm and hunts with his father around the kelp forest. He love using a bow and arrows as he prefer being at a safe distance than close up. When he was a young adult, he join to become a guard of the Poseidon City Guards however when Guardmaster Rob saw his skills; he placed him to be apart of the Royal Guards. Kyo now find himself to be the youngest member of the Royal Guards alongside older and more experience members, but he does like that they help out to understand more about being a Royal Guard. Despite being a Royal Guard, he does find himself having fun with Prince Maku and Princess Anpaytoo as they play games and even hold an archer tournament in the gardens.
