And now for something completely and totally different! Meet Nick Noir the main character of a cartoon called Nick Noir: Ace Detective, a popular children's show about the titular detective solving the new mystery of the week, meeting friend and foe alike as he cracks the case. Despite having an intended demographic, the show proved to be very popular with adults thanks to solid writing, strong characters, and oozing oodles of charm that totally doesn't sound familiar, does it?, which makes it a great show for the whole family to enjoy (though a lot of the online fanclubs tend to skew from 17-30).

Nick, as a character, is quite the interesting hero. He's a private investigator who works on whatever crime scene he's assigned to work on. He only takes on extremely difficult or complicated cases, since he prefers dealing with those on his own. Nick is a cat of few words but he'll open up more based on his investment in his cases. The reason he likes to get involved in convoluted cases is because he does not trust the police to deal with them- he finds they're either corrupt or incompetent (worst case scenario, both), and he does not want the victims of a crime to suffer anymore at the hands of a dubious police force, hence why he's a private eye. He likes working on his own, but now he has to deal with a sidekick- Tina- who loves investigating crimes as much as he does. Shenanigans ensue, as you can imagine.

Yes, an in-universe cartoon character, but he's essential to Project Timeless nonetheless, as fans of the show can be found everywhere- even perhaps in the main cast! I also tried to make Nick be more cartoony than usual to distinguish him from all of the other Project Timeless characters. So I hope you guys enjoy!
