Damn, that's one hell of a piece of work. This looks like something so minimalist and stylised, and yet it all comes together so well.

The bare room that looks like a cell, the shadows on the wall, and most of all, the dog's haunting expression. Damn right it's powerful.

However did you manage that look in the dog's eyes? It's not easy to look at, and it's just as difficult to look away.

It may be the reflection in the eyes looks like it's wet/welling with tears.

Wow um, this actually brought a tear to my eye. Not to bring drama to your page, but that looks just like my dog Whiskey, who I recently had to have put to sleep.

Wonderful piece, including the emotions that it dregs up.

The contrast makes it even more of a powerful piece.

I get kind of lost in the pure black areas outside of the "bars" that the dog is in--the very thin lines make sense, but gets confusing when they go in two different directions on the floor.
