Mericus is half undead vampire through a special proscess so that he is between being a full undead and being alive. Plus has the Red Lion in him, (alchemical life extending formula, ie the Marquis St. Germain), An addiction to a drug-wine that normally erases your memory but he has built up an immunity to this effect, the other makes you completely invulnerable to harm, and very drunk, (like belhaven's scottish ale drunk) He is also extrodinarilly beautiful, (he has that arabian horse face that is so well known).
But even Mericus cannot best a demon like Kehno, Kehno won't win, but Kehno IS stronger, and could overpower Mericus easily.
