Seriously! The only reason I picked books up again was because my phone crapped out for about 3 months and I'd been meaning to finish it.
I didn't end up liking the book much toward the end, but it at least made me love reading again enough to grab a new book that I'm enjoying much more. :3
I hope you are maybe enjoying a good book yourself!

I just finished a big epos by Isaac Asimov, and now I have a crime thriller started. I usually read books during pause at work, raising eyebrows here and there... apparently people are expected to either stare into a dumbphone, or sit around staring into nothing. I for one, can't do that, or else I'll fall asleep with open eyes...
I'll have to give Issac Asimov a try!
I don't mind phones honestly. Sure they can have dumb shit on them but they also are insta knowledge for anything. GPS. Emergency services immediately. I don't miss having mine back necessarily but they're not all bad. It's only when it's all selfies all the time that can be abusing the privilege lol``
You're the second person this year also on a crime novel. I'm on a murder mystery called The Moonstone !

aha. :) I alternate between fantasy, sci-fi, and crime. but not everything on the shelf. as of late bookstores are so filled with thrillers it starts to come down to who describes it the most brutally... read one, read all. I have to look closer to the synopsis.
around my gamer friends and me we tend to distribute books around of the "good read, porobably won't read it again tho" cathegory. our tastes are relatriovely close to each other, so chances are high I can grab a decent book. :)
there are some people who can't live without a smartphone thing in their hands. makes one wonder how many accidents happen because someone had to twitter something uninteresting _right now_.
