I've finally gotten around to streamlining these critters, as well as designing some sexual dimorphism. Unlike the Ralians, who mostly vary by shape, the El'himzen sexes are pretty easy to tell even from a distance. Males have sort of a mane, and they have extra fur running down their chests as well as down the middle of their back and down their tail. Their ears are also shorter.
EDIT: oops, I colored his face wrong! control-f5 if you care.

Why thanks!
The El'himzen worship Mana itself, and they believe that putting these markings on their children at birth increases how in sync with mana they are. the markings, if translated, usually say things like "Bless this child with Mana" and "Watch over them so long as they live" (there are often other markings, but almost all children at least get the mana blessing).
Naturally, there is some debate among other races if the markings actually do anything or not, but the El'himzen ARE the longest living race... :o
