How do you come up with such different and pretty designs?

Is it just trial and error with lots of google? or do you just have a magic bag you pull ideas from lol

It's a combination! For this design I knew I wanted a pale gryph similar to a leucistic red tailed hawk (Kinda like this: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/8c/c.....0ce223bf.jpg).
Then I decided I wanted her to have orange flesh, and so I was fussing around with the hues and decided that the reddish color would be cool, but I wanted it to have some pop, so I made her more gray than tan, and that's pretty much how it went down. XD
It's usually a single idea that snowballs into other ideas. A lot of the time I start a design for say a gryph, with inspiration from a butterfly or a fish or something like that. And then things sort of morph as the design goes along.

Ah ok! Thanks for the reply! I asked because im trying to design my own character but seem to have hit a creative wall and seeing your designs and hoe amazingly varied they are made me wanna ask how you do it!

So far I have a few general themes but seem to draw a blank when trying to find out specific ways to put it to paper heh.

I've been doing it for over 12 years so experience certainly helps, but the wonderful thing about designs is that you can change them if you want! Nothing's set in stone~

If I got a commission when your open would you be able or willing to help me? Or do I need a full ref for that?
