So. Much. More. Work than I thought! This is already at 5-7 hours
I take a doubled up cardboard a little longer than the length that I want the fluffs. Wrap the whole thing, then tape down both ends. I take a razor to the ends to cut the yarn... make sure it is sharp and new.. box cutters are great.
Tie each length in half with a not, I started doing 6 at a time, now doing 8.
I then unravel them all by hand... this type of yarn was taking for ever to brush out, so my hand unraveling them, then brushing, I think I might be saving some time?? At least it doesn’t pull as much yarn out. I then iron or use the flat iron on the fluffs, then sew on tail...
it is a lot of work
But soooo pretty!
What I won’t do for my Little D!
