Longtime viewers will recall the M-17, a toy M-16 copy available at Kresge a couple of decades back, from my "Build Your Own Albedo Blaster" article, which appeared in "Refractions" #2 in 1991 or thereabouts. Here, I've done plans to convert one to an SAR-71A2 from "Empires".

Never DID get around to actually building one, but if you're so inclined, you could kitbash one from an Airsoft M-16...
