I think the shading is profoundly what captivates this picture. For example: the small flame in your paws casts light only on your chest, for that is where the light is directed, and because of this the audience can see the glazing reflection in your glasses.
The misty white aura enshrouding you, is an excellent feature, adding a flare of mystery. Or that could be smoke, considering your surrounded by flames its safe to assume this, or get scorched^^;
