Appearance: classic golden beer color.

Pours: thin partial head forms

Smell: See taste

Taste: almost a stereotypical beer taste of grains along with some definite green hops sharpness. Sadly I’m not picking up much of the namesake pineapple unless the part they used is the leafy crown. I feel like I’m at a dive bar in the Bayou and someone keeps jarring an old style Wurlitzer jukebox filled with old bar standards.

Mouthfeel: if it weren’t for the hops you wouldn’t know this beer was here.

Rating: 5.5 Too much reliance on hops, this beer has succeeded in reminding me of the Sisyphian futility of the daily grind of this ultimately pointless thing called life. Why do I keep getting fooled into thinking that the next swallow will be better? ~sigh~
