The wolf had ducked around the corner of the club expecting to find a straight and smooth shot to the back exit of the building. To his surprise, he wasn't met by the wedged open back but by the massive figure of the biggest polar bear he had ever seen in his life. His giant frame bulging out the tight black shirt as he stood in front of the door smoking a cigar. The bear, who obviously was one of the bouncers, seemed to be in just as much shock at seeing Shade as Shade was to see him.

"Hey!" The bear said. "What the hell are you doing back here?"

The wolf could tell from one look at the guy that he wouldn't take any bs excuse that he could come up with on the spot. Despite himself, Shade tried the truth.

"L-listen man, I'm just trying to get in."

The large white bear looked down at the dark-furred wolf a strange glint in his eyes as his long purple tongue ran over his lips.

"Trying to sneak in huh? I might be able to help you out there..." The bouncer said gruffly a low rumbling chuckle leaving his chest.
