When your hair is your primary source of attack, you need to take good care of it. As such, when Shantae got word of a new salon opening up, she just had to check it out. Little did she realize that it was actually a nefarious(?) trap devised by the infamous pirate, Risky Boots! With the half-genie fooled by her... ingenious disguise and enjoying her facial too much to notice, Risky took the opportunity to effortlessly "disarm" the poor girl, cropping off the very tresses that she used to protect Scuttle Town. What will happen to our half-genie hero now!?
... Well, okay, probably nothing too horrible; the Shantae games are pretty silly, after all.
