Seiya comes home from school looking saddened and rushes to his room. Sousuke looks and gets worried about his brother. paying mind that dinner is needed, he starts the fish and meats and lets them simmer going up knocking on the door. he hears Seiya talking to himself about his grades and gets worried.
Seiya: why cant i get this......this is the third time i got lower than brother......its not fair.....
Sousuke: Seiya..........
Seiya: everyone compares me to him. i dont get it, im not him i can never be him......i just want to be smart...
Sousuke: not this again......i knew sending him there would be a mistake.....
going down, Sousuke boils veggies and sets the table, soon calling his little brother down for dinner and looks at him trying to convey how he must feel.
Sousuke thinking: i cant pry him into it, hes nervous and scared. third time he didnt do as well as me, but his grades are always in the top 100 of the entire grade, there shouldnt be a concern for him....
Sousuke: seiya......how was class today?
Seiya smiles at him fondly and starts telling him about his day.
Seiya: well a bunch of the kids got upset over the midterms and i ended up passing above them all, i scored the winning goal at practice and i was selected to help with the school festival!!!!
Sousuke: im proud of you Seiya.......thats more than i ever did in school.
Seiya: Really!?!?!
Sousuke: of course, i spent so many years studying that i forgot to have fun with the school and not just learn from it.
Seiya: re....really.....is that why you dont have many friends.
Sousuke gives his little brother a noogie telling him hes mister popularity and feels better seeing Seiya laughing and goes off to study. going up to wish his little brother goodnight he sees seiya asleep at his desk his text book open and lays him in bed looking at the tests on the desk.
Sousuke: "your brother got A's and you get B's. why not try harder" "Sousuke used to do these in his sleep, you barely made it to the end time, see me to look at how Sousuke did" "seems your parents might need to meet me after this"
leaving the room he quietly closes Seiyas door and goes to his room locking it and looks in the mirror from his bed. looking at his yearbook he chucks it at the mirror seeing Seiyas reflection looking back at him.
Sousuke: god damn it!!!! this isnt how you teach someone!!!! i saw his grades, their fine......no one should be compared to someone else and demeaned as some shadow!!!!!! DAMN IT DAMN IT DAMN IT DAMN IT!!!!!
hearing the knob jiggle, Seiya comes worried about his brother hearing the screaming.
Seiya: big brother.......are you okay?
Sousuke: im fine buddy, go back to sleep. you got class tommorow.
Seiya: i heard a crash and you were screaming.....did i do something wrong?
Sousuke opens the door hugging Seiya and holding him close.
Sousuke: absolutely not.....your a bright student and doing everyone proud....i read the comments, and no never feel like you need to be like me......their wrong to say that.....
Seiya: it wasnt that, it was the comments made about the parents.......
Sousuke: i know you miss them....i do to buddy......but that teacher will be talked to tommorow. dont ever think they wouldnt be proud of you....
Seiya: but its true, im not as smart as you.....im lower than your GPA and the work load keeps piling on.
Sousuke: your in honors classes.....do you want that?
Seiya shakes his head looking down at himself.
Sousuke: i may of had brains but i didnt interact much with the classmates. you got people blowing up the phone looking for you to go out to the amusement park and have fun.
Seiya: but its what you did when you were younger.......
Sousuke: but your not me buddy, your smart and energetic.....you shouldnt have to worry about being me but being yourself.
Seiya: okay.....um can i......stay here brother, you seem sadder than i am.....

laying in bed wide away he sees seiya laying on his chest asleep and pets his head making him feel safe.
Sousuke: that school always been an drag, no matter what i wont let Seiya cry about that one more time. a school i an escape not a prison for a child.
the following day, Sousuke takes Seiya to school and sees the teacher that remarked his parents as needing to meet and goes up to him.
teacher: SOUSUKE!!!! been what 20 years......?
Sousuke: might i ask teacher, did you write on Seiyas paper that his parents need to meet?
Seiya: yes he doesnt do as well as you and well.....he spends too much time with the other students to really earn that privilege.
Sousuke: whats that mean?
teacher: that his parents arent doing a right job and need to start putting value in his school work........
Sousuke: our parents died three months ago......if you didnt get the memo that Seiya stayed home out of grief.
Teacher: then whoever is raising him now needs to step up.
Sousuke narrows his eyes looking at the teacher keeping his cool.
Sousuke: my baby brother is my responsibility, you have no right to compare him to me at any point or time, forcing those classes on him and ridiculing him for being "dumber" than me is disgusting, i already filed the complaints and i will be withdrawing him from this institution. those who do that to a child should be ashamed of being an educator.
the teacher looks at Sousuke goes in filing the paperwork and taking Seiya home to collect his things. on the walk back, seiya holds his brothers hand wondering whats gonna happen.
Seiya: im sorry big brother.......
Sousuke: i already found a school near the old one, its public and with less rigorous testing and teachers. you like to build right?
Seiya: YEAH!!!!! I KNOW THE INS AND OUTS OF EVERYTHING!!!!!
Sousuke: this school will help you hone those skills no matter what!!!! you can do things even i cant and well......lets just go home.

Sousuke: "Sorry... We were so lost in work, that we forget about time."

Seiya: "We were going to read Beauty and the Beast, the theater version in French, by choosing a role."
Kuugo: "Sound like fun, can we help?"

Gou: "Should we eat before?"

Another trick Sousuke taught to Seiya is to imagine the characters as people he knows, for example, Gou, Yuujirou or Kuugo, himself, Rai, etc...
