I was actually in the process of coloring this picture when I realized that I could use this idea to make something much more elaborate (hopefully you all will all see soon enough) so I decided to post just the rough line art. I know it is a bit rushed, but then again, I think it is still worth a post.
Here we have Haley on the bus, her car has broken down and forced her to use public transportation. Needless to say, the seats were flimsy and there was hardly enough space most of the time, not to mention all the people giving her glances as she tries to eat her breakfast. For those of you that might know Haley's personality, I am sure you can figure out what she thinks about that.

I propose adding a new line to that "wheels on the bus" song.
"The fatties on the bus bounce up and down, up and down, up and down."
Or perhaps someone is saying that to her and that's why she looks like she's going to kill someone, either that or some dude is peeing in the corner.

Weird, those things should be a bit sturdier than that...and trust me, I've used COTA buses during peak hours back when I was down in Columbus. I've been sat on by people a few times my weight while carrying at least a third of my weight in textbooks and luggage...the seats didn't mind, but I wasn't too happy.
Yeah, it's mostly an exaggeration to convey her feeling about the situation and how nothing about taking the bus is living up to her standards. Being present day, I'm sure most buses can handle her weight and even bigger sizes very easily, though it's fun sometimes to think about if they did not.
Kaijusaurs travel as freight by rail or ship, since a sleeping 4' kaijusaur will mushroom into a 14' kaijusaur unless they're wearing bionic suppressors. (They're barred from aircraft without them. The reasons for why are pretty obvious...kaijusaurs are pretty good at self control and aware of their surroundings, but if you're the United Earth government [or citizens therof] a bit of caution goes a long way.)
