I wrote 5 pages (and growing) of a character of mine arguing the ethics of their life decisions with the ghost of their dead brother (or themselves, in reality if you don't believe in ghosts).

So I just want to say how much I appreciate the level of thought and detail you seem to put into all your stuff.

I feel like real people do real things, and a fictional character can do real people things and this makes them more of a real person.

So I'll go along with just about (but not) anything if it fits within the internal logic of the characters and subjects at hand.

and i think context is the most important and necessary thing in porn tbh even on a purely sexual level. an image of two bodies banging could just be mindless meat husks and without context it's just bodies in positions. porn without context, especially fetish porn, the actual character IS the fetish then

if i drew an incests or a snuff with a brand new character with no context and no explanation or identity to them what's on display isn't someone going through an erotic situation but a representation of the fetish itself

contextless porn exists as a signifier for a platonic concept. it is a fetish on the purest metafictional level, an Idea being given a cursory form because it's super hard to reprsent in its pure Form, but it's not the characters in the image or what they're doing that's the point of arousal, but that it repesents that platonic fetish form is what's the attraction point. some hyper zoomed in shot of a hoof being licked by gray generic furry mouth isn't something that's actually happening to people, it isn't a situation you can place yourself in, it's a best-fit representation of an Idea that in itself is erotic

porn in a context and story creates a believable space where you can inhabit a character and experience what they are experiencing. instead of being attracted to what a thing represents alone you're brought to why the character is into it in the context they exist in which makes for a more natural arousal, i think.

if you have a snuff porn with a random person getting their head chopped off, it's the action of decapitation itself that is at the focus of arousal. it isn't arousal at the person's fear, or their impending death, or the terror of their reality so much as it's attraction to the idea that someone's head is coming off. if you give it a greater context, even just a little bit, it becomes more real and powerful, i think.

and i mean with all the dumb metafictional stuff i love you'd think i'd be all over orgasming onto platonic forms of fetishes but iunno. it does nothing for me.
