it has kind of been a while since my last progress pic. a bit longer than i would have liked haha. but i kinda needed a break from it since i had been working on it way too much and for way too long so i kinda worked on some other projects in the mean time. but i'm back working on this now and it's getting close to being finished.

so yeah, anyway. i basically coated the earpieces in caulk and eventually mod podge and sanded it really well until it was all pretty smooth to the touch and definetely to the eyes. this took a few days for a few reasons. one of them being that it's really tedious and another one being that i'm probably doing it wrong since this entire project is a learning experience for me. so yeah anyway, after that i basically painted the rims of everything blue like the actual helmet. the painting stuff will go a lot faster so expect a few more progress pics soon. i still haven't figured out how i'm gonna make the visor but i may have an idea for it. expect that stuff really soon as well.

i'm also kinda in the process of setting up a nice google drive so i can store all the progress pics i take, which is a lot, publicly so i can upload them as soon as i take them since i won't be posting all of them on here.
