Pacino the Wolf was commissioned by Jay Green of Oakham school for the Running Torch theatre company. Pacino was a central character in Running Torch's 'Wolves', performed at 2009's Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Pacino is a bunraku style puppet made by Billie Achilleos.

GinaHyena. I took a class that talked about Bunraku theater, so it was refreshing to see a puppet used in Bunraku I hadn't yet seen.. I"m way too used to classical geishas and such!
AMAZING work of art--because it's more than just a puppet, it's a being brought to life by these great motivators.
I think I'd lvoe to see "Wolves"-- it's a shame it's not in MA, eh... ? :|
