Once you adopt, they are yours to do what you want.
You may tweak them when you buy them but please leave the brunt of the design alone.
First come first serve.

Invoice only, give me your paypal address and I will send you the bill, after you accept it, you will receive your adoptable.
You may resell my adoptables for the same amount that you paid for, as when you first bought them.
You may NOT sell them for more than you bought them for UNLESS you are selling them with art you have commissioned/drawn of them.
You may trade them for other adopts.
