This was the second figurine I had prepared for this year's Eurofurence art show. Sadly all of the figures were heavily damaged in the mail to a point where there wasn't much to save anymore. Regardless, I want to upload the photos anyway^^' This one was damaged particularly badly which... really broke my heart.

This figure caused me a lot of trouble but i'm so glad i finished her anyway because i'm really happy with how she turned out. I decided to do the labels on the bottles and buckets with paper instead of painting them on, that was a really good idea because it allowed for really sharp edges and a more realistic look. If you know me you know i love sculpting tiny flimsy details and making all those brushes and paint tubes and so on.. that was loads of fun!
Again kind of a title with a double meaning. I wanted her to look like she was just kissed by the muse and inspired to paint, but she was supposed to be kind of a muse to whoever bought her aswell, maybe to stand on someone´s desk or shelf and help the creativity flow, at least i would love that c:
Without the glass the looks like she´s waving hello :'D HAI GUYZ

You do your own sculpting / molding? Would you mind if I bothered / messaged you? Modeling is something I really wanted to try and get into, but I don't know enough about it. The kind of clay, heating, various information like that. Unless you just 3D print them x3

This is such a beautiful work, you keep amazing us with your skills and ideas!
This whole situation is terrible, but I really hope that there will be some way or solution to prevent this from happening in future.
You will create so much more beautiful and breathtaking sculpture! And though it's very sad, I am so glad that there are these wonderful photos of the figurine from many different angles, so we all can appreciate all the hard work and love you put in it. This is just an outstanding piece!

Aw, thank you so very much for your nice words! Honestly one of the most frustrating things is that i did everything to prevent this. As i said somewhere else, i shipped things to Australia or Russia (you might remember lol) and nothing ever broke this bad. So im not really sure what i should do differently in the future, i guess just keep doing everything the same and hoping nothing bad happens :')
Ich antworte mal auf deutsch: danke schön Dreamandnightmare hatte mir schon vorgeschlagen, ob ich die Figuren nicht vielleicht angebrochen und dann ganz günstig anbieten will, aber gerade die hier hat es echt heftig erwischt. Also wenn ich sage "kaputt", dann meine ich wirklich... Gesicht zerbrochen, Kopf ab, Arm ab, Ohren ab, Zeug auf dem Boden abgerissen und zerstört, Füße gebrochen und und und. Auch wenn es mir echt das Herz bricht, aber die kann man eigentlich wirklich nur noch wegschmeißen :(
Ach f**k... :'( Das tut mir so unendlich leid.. ich hätte sie tatsächlich auch noch kaputt gekauft, weil sie unglaublich schön ist, aber all diese Details, die du aufgelistet hast.. Ohman, echt traurig. Ich kann deinen Schmerz nachvollziehen, irgendwie fühle ich da sehr arg mit dir! :(

Jaa ;___; Und ich war so zufrieden mit der Figur, weil da so viel Liebe drin gesteckt hat. Mir ist die Figur beim Herstellen zwei mal runter gefallen *Tollpatsch* und auf den harten Boden geknallt, trotzdem war sie danach nie SO kaputt wie das, was DHL da abgeliefert hat. Ich war echt geschockt.. und weine mit dir!

Ich hab bereits auf der letzten EF eine Wolfskulptur gekauft ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/26369081/ ) ... Hätte ich diese Skulptur gesehen, wäre die definitiv in meine engere Auswahl gekommen...
Ich hoffe mal, dass du es nächste EF nochmal versuchst ... Vielleicht gibt es ja auf Furbase eine Möglichkeit einen persönlichen Transport zu organisieren, damit sowas nicht nochmal vorkommt?

Hm - die Figuren in deiner Gallerie sehen alle super aus. Tatsächlich bin ich aber erst auf die Skulpturen aufmerksam geworden als Desaia mir ihre gezeigt hat Ich bin mir recht sicher, dass die in der Artshow gut ankommen würden. Aber Mann - jedes mal wenn ich auf das Photo hier auf der Seite schaue bricht mir das Herz ... Ich würde nie wieder eine Skulptur von dem Paketdienst transportieren lassen...
Ich denke es ist einen Versuch auf den Fall wert!

Hast du diese Figur eigentlich von Hand geformt oder hast du eine Gussform dafür? Bei der Fursuit Skulptur hast du ja von einer Form gesprochen...

Die werden alle von Hand modelliert, bei der Fursuitfigur habe ich nur diese von Hand modellierte Figur genommen und davon einen Abdruck gemacht, damit ich dann mehrere davon machen kann :) Aber sonst sind das alles immer Unikate!
Und nicht schlimm mit den replys, hauptsache FA sagt mir brav, dass ich einen Kommentar habe x)
