My other half kindly pointed out that any werewolfy kinda astronautish themed painting would instantly be identified by fans as Man-Wolf (John Jameson, son of J. Jonah Jameson of the Daily Bugle)... so I decided to make him a white wolf. I was going for that a K Inukai inspired latex suit look... think I only half succeeded. It's a lot easier in digital than watercolor.

man wolf is one of the rare animal themed characters in comics that actually has an animal face... rather than being a hairy guy with a stupid hairy face
i'm trying to think of examples, but all that springs to mind is wendigo, who doesn't really count... he's an example of the archetype though, in that most heroes/villains who should be more "furry" end up looking like him... tigra from marvel comics is a kind of example too, i suppose
i wish i could think of a better example to support my point
anyway, cool picture
