I've read so much Bleach that I eventually started making my own Zanpakutou's. This is one of my recent designs, not really a Zanpakutou's release form nor a sealed form but its just a design that i drew up on a whim.
No real name for it or what sort of element or abilities it may have. If any element it'd be fire, as for any abilities... i dunno, can send out a wave of flame if swung? -shrugs- I'm not good with special abilities or names. ^^;
A cookie to whoever can think of a good name and/or ability that would complment the name.

I kinda wanted to keep the name close to what was had in the Bleach Anime/manga. The name is japanese and the words you use to release it tie into that name. So using the name you had (wish i could speak japanese and say 'firestorm' in japanese) So FireStorm's release works would be something "rend them to ash, FireStorm." or something like that. -shrugs-
