OMG, work from me?! I kid you not! XD This was a spur of the moment thing I decided to do last night, and wanted to submit it here. Not a story though (of course), but will submit some of those in due time, if jump on the opportunity, as I did with this. D:
So, was talking with one of my closer FA/online friends last night, and somehow, the topic shifted towards his love life, and I felt bad for what he said, so I tried to comfort him. Anyway, after a bit more discussion, somehow, I thought of
sjfan's poetry he's done a bit of lately, and the desire to do a poem based on what I talked about with my bud arose (without trying to look, which was semi-successful, though struggled a bit to remember if anything else, but still never looked), so I jumped on it ASAP. :3 I don't really consider myself to be the poetic type, so this was the first time I ever wrote anything poetry-related. I think it's "okay", but could've been better, though when I showed it to my bud, he was flattered that I did such a thing, actually said he cried... though I think I MAY have gone a bit overboard on describing my feelings towards him, but I do care about him and his happiness a bit. ^^; Though I'm keeping his name to myself, to protect his privacy.
Anyway, would appreciate some feedback on this one, if you bother to read it. XP As I said and/or implied, this was an experiment (and kind of a failed one, as I wanted it to rhyme more, but didn't really try to make it so, just wanted to do it while still had desire), and if people like it, I MAY do more in the future, if the mood strikes me. I just hope again, that I can jump on the opportunity, if more arise, to do some writing for my stories I owe to some people, and want to do for myself, heh. X3
Oh, and no one complain about the thumbnail, please, since even though I know who did it, didn't get it off his page, got it off Google Images instead. XD I would make one myself, if could be bothered to learn how to draw, but for now, this'll have to do. Besides, I think it sort of suits the "theme" of the poem, more or less. ^^;
May put in scraps eventually.

Heh, really? It wouldn't happen to maybe be Fleeting Friendship by 
zephyrpaws, would it? At first, thought maybe were referring to a similar poem (which am hoping does not seem like a rip-off to the person, though don't think so), then realized you said "story", so figured that might be it instead, as have read it myself, but never commented on it. And yeah, I guess it does seem like that, now that you mention it, which ironically, is pretty similar to an idea I'm hoping to do myself, one of these days. XD
And as for the icon... like I said, pulled it off a random site from Google Images, but is really from an artist on here by the name of Kuya. He draws some interesting Pokemon stuff, but mainly draws inflation stuff (check out his gallery and you might agree with me). Just hope that no one rats me out now, or if someone does rat me out, I don't get in trouble for using this as an icon, without permission. D:
