I find that an otter pop tends to help with the heat. If nothing else, it's something sweet to suck on.

Your art style is almost geometric. It’s as though each color is a cutout of paper and they were all laid out to create the scene, which is a very exciting idea now that I’m learning adobe illustrator. I struggle with creating form from flat colors, but you’ve done it brilliantly here. And the color palette and haze really brings out that sense of intolerable heat (which I assure you we have plenty of where I live, too!)

The detail of the character contrasts nicely with the simplicity of the background, but you didn’t skimp in any way. It tells the eye what to look at. Nice work! How long did it take you to make this?
