As an electrical engineer, it bugs me somewhat that you call them high-gain antennas and yet they don't look at all like high gain antennas!

...I notice strangely specific things.

I only executed what was provided to me. I am personally well aware what the actual electrical equipment looks like. But this character is not exactly anchored in actual real life. ;)

Yea, I know it's technically incorrect, but it's such common slang to call an oversize antenna a "high-gain" antenna. So I just went with it.
