Haha, no, because everyone there was a pompous contemporary artist elitist. They knew I was majoring in science, and the class is class-marked, essentially, so they were always like, "Your art isn't REAL art. It's more like a science experiment, really."
Ridiculous.
Anyway, got like 70%, well below class average. The thing that bugs me, though, is it wasn't a contemporary art class. It was a DRAWING class, but the teacher teaching it was contemporary, therefore anything that isn't modern art isn't REAL art and therefore inferior.

Ah...Luckily our tutor has had about 40 years of experience with every king of art you can imagine, so he's really open-minded and passionate about art.
Most tutors in my college are the same. They're so laid-back but try to also instill the mindset of the industry into us so that we can cope for the future.
Sucks about your class though, is there no casual life-drawing group you could join?
